Work With BookLab

A publisher campaign lasts six weeks. A BookLab page keeps working.

I don’t sell reviews. I sell a place on the lists and pages my readers already use to pick their next book. Those pages stay up, keep ranking, and keep sending people to the book long after launch week.

About 46k followers on X, 18k subscribers on YouTube, and an X audience that bookmarks instead of just liking. The site picks up traffic from Google, Bing, YouTube, X, and ChatGPT.

I cover psychology, human nature, philosophy, Stoicism, biography, history, economics, tech, and AI. If your book belongs on that shelf, I’d like to hear about it.

Why the page matters more than the blast

Launch week is loud and short. The useful part is what still works in month three and month six.

  • Monthly releases pages bring in about a third of every Google click the site has ever had. They go live about a month early, so they can start ranking before pub day. The November 2026 list was on Google’s first page a month before November began.

  • Spotlight pages keep drawing search traffic after the posts have scrolled by. The Process by Mitesh Jani is the site’s second-best page, still ranking months after it went up. You’re Not Dead Yet reached Google’s first page within days.

  • A short timed to a release can show up in Google’s video carousel. The one for The Infinity Machine did more than 1,600 views and sat at #1–2 for the title.

That’s what you’re buying. A page that stays findable, next to books I already recommend.

How It Works

  1. You submit your book

Title, author, pub date, a link, and a line on why it fits. I read every submission myself.

  2. I check the fit

Same standard I use for the free monthly list. I only take books I can put on the page with a straight face, and most submissions don’t make it. That’s what keeps readers trusting the list you’d be on.

  3. You pay. I buy my own copy.

Unless it’s not commercially available yet. Then you can send a copy.

  4. The book goes on a page that stays up

Your Spotlight page, posts on X, and if you take the monthly slot, the releases page and the YouTube video. The page stays live after the launch calendar moves on.

Two ways in

Spotlight

$150

A page of its own for the book, whether it’s just out or has been out for a while.

  • A dedicated Spotlight page on booklabbybjorn.com: what the book is about, who it’s for, my first take on it, and a purchase link
  • Three posts on X, spread out
  • A link to your site or the book’s page

A good fit if you want the book to keep being findable, not just mentioned once.

Featured Release

$350

The one paid slot on that month’s list. Built for authors who are about to publish.

  • Everything in Spotlight
  • Sponsored Pick on that month’s releases page. One per month.
  • Featured spot in the monthly releases video on YouTube

Pages go up about a month before the release month, which is the useful window.

Prices are the prices. They’re the same for everyone.

Featured Release slots

One per month. Updated when a slot is taken.

Month Slot
November 2026 Open
December 2026 Open
January 2027 Open

The October list is already live. Write if you want November, December, or January.

Books I’ve worked with so far

A good fit looks like this

  • Serious nonfiction in psychology, human nature, philosophy, Stoicism, biography, history, economics, tech, or AI
  • A book you’d be glad to see next to the others on the monthly list
  • A new release, or a book whose launch already happened and still deserves readers

I skip AI-generated books, vanity press, and topics outside that list. The placement is what you buy. What I say about the book stays mine, and that honesty is what makes the placement worth anything.

If you’re unsure, send it anyway.

What you can count on

  • No paid reviews or paid star ratings
  • No fake endorsements
  • I buy the book myself (unless only pre-release copies are available)
  • One Sponsored Pick per monthly page
  • A page that stays up

Send it

If you want a reserved spot, email me the details below. If you’d rather be considered for the free monthly list first, use Submit a Book. No payment, and no promise I’ll feature it.

  • Book title and author
  • Publisher
  • Publication date
  • Genre / topic
  • Link to the book
  • Why it fits this audience
  • Spotlight ($150) or Featured Release ($350)

I read what comes in. If it’s a fit, I’ll tell you how we can do it. If it’s close but the monthly slot is wrong, we can look at Spotlight instead.
